Ladies, Gentlemen

Sorry to say that I really don't have the time to do something for dA. Started a new job, after finishing my schooling, and it's really really a hell of a lot of work. Have to get used to it first, before I'm going to do anything else :)

Whatsoever, I don't want you to get too bored with me not doing anything, so I've decided to show you THIS link
[link]
It will directly lead you to our very first video clip we've made for a befriended young band as a school-project. It still needs a bit of improvement, but that will have to wait too, until I find the time. The video was made with two other classmates, one of them is ~Grabraeuberin88, and of course with the band.
Interested to hear some more? Kind of a provisional website - the myspace-account of the songwriter/vocalist - is this:

Hope you like it!!!

So long and thanks for your undivided attention,
Cate

How are you doing? It's been a while - unfortunately.

I've finally taken some pictures again that I'm content with. And I've really missed doing it!

Two new pictures so far. You'll have the opportunity to adore my wonderful little nephew who - to my and his pleasure - found my camera most interesting.

Summerholidays have started two weeks ago, still some weeks left. I hope I'll be able to use them for some more creativ work to share with you.
We'll see...

So long,
thank you for your undivided attention,
Cate

Ladies, Gentlemen,

it's maddening!!!

Currently it's project weeks at school. Eight weeks of working for a company.
Me and ~Grabraeuberin88 have to do some product photos of office supplies. Nothing too bad about it.
If there weren't those goddamn transparent desk pads!
Ever tried to get a clear and sharp image of that stuff? We find it impossible!

So if anyone of you knows how to manage to get a sharp image of something transparent, that only seems to consist of two outlines and an imprinting, please be so kind and tell us. We've run out of ideas - and none worked, obviously :(

Thanks in advance!

And thank you for your undivided attention,
Cate

Heyhey!

Think it's more than time to show that I'm still around.
Much to do, lately. Much happened. But whatsoever, it can't be that bad that I'd not have a daily look in here. It's just that I don't have the time to answer much or so. I come, see, appreciate in silence and leave again. Hope that's gonna change soon. Am really fed up of doing so little.

But I fear that things won't change this week - too much to do for school. The good thing about it is that the most I've got to do is for photography. Am supposed to take some pictures next monday and tuesday - topic is "the four elements". Gonna be some portraits: male, female and loads of floating fabric.
Hope I'll be able to upload them by 12th. Hope they'll look as I imagine them. We'll see - and saying "we" I mean all of you as well.

And then again I've got a question.
Anyone of you got experience with the Nikon AF-D 50mm /1,8 objective? I'm thinking about buying one, but first I'd rather have some more oppinions. Sure, I found lots of ratings but can you really be sure tey're not written by the dealer himself? That's something I hate about the internet. So I prefere to trust you my trustworthy, independent readers.
What do you think about that objective? Good? Bad? Anything better to recommend (please mind that as a poor student my budget is loooooooow)?

Thanks in Advance!

And thank you for your undivided attention

Naaaaaaaaaaaaaaarrrr

Wed Aug 13, 2008, 9:28 PM
Ladies, Gentlemen...

Good Grief! "It's far too early in the morning to be early in the morning"

What can I say? Holyday's over. And the ridiculous thing is that now my head's full of new ideas. And the even more ridiculous thing is that I even would've the time to realise them. I only have to find a proper replace for the tripod - since dad wanted his back (though he doesn't even use it! :pissed: )
Whatever, I'll find a way! So be eager, take heed, I'm back!! :mwahaha:

So long and
